The ambitious new program aims to expand the availability of health and safety information to underserved communities by leveraging new media and social networking. About Charlotte M. Hendricks
Dr. Charlotte M. Hendricks is a Certified Health Education Specialist and earned her doctoral degree from Indiana University in 1982. She has over 30 years experience in early childhood health education and research through the Head Start program, Healthy Child Care Alabama, health departments, university settings, foundations and professional organizations, and grant projects.
She is nationally recognized as a leader in health and safety education for childcare and preschool, and received the "Distinguished Service Award" of the American School Health Association in 2000.
Dr. Hendricks hosts the Child Health and Safety Channel on BAM Radio Network.
